Your Candidate for
Georgia House 107
As a mother, wife, business owner and mental health therapist, Shelly has the skills necessary for a positive change at the capitol.
"I feel that everything surrounding the political process today is steeped in negativity. Our country is regressing in many ways and I would like to reverse that. I want my children to be able to ride their bikes safely in our community. I want my 14-year-old African American son to start his journey driving in the state of Georgia without fear that he will be killed for a traffic violation. I want my neighbors to know who their representative is and to trust that they are respected and heard."
We must invest in our State's most important resource - its people. I vow to put partisans aside to create legislation that allows our neighborhoods and businesses to thrive.
I will continue my career in education by informing our communities of all upcoming legislation. I will stand for nothing short of transparent, ethical, and honest legislation that supports collaborative partnerships between citizens, businesses, and our government.
We need a government that is by the people, for the people. I will fight to stop partisan gerrymandering to ensure we have fair and equal representation - so that we the people choose our elected officials.
One of our greatest strengths is our diversity. I will be a voice for the voiceless, and fight to build an inclusive government where everyone has a seat at the table and is treated with equal dignity and respect.
